One of the more pleasurable things in life is the excitement of planning and taking holidays, with many of us having the freedom to decide where we will go and what type of holiday we will have. However, you may have a partner, family member or friend who is disabled who will have no such choice as suitable disabled holiday acommodation is simply not available. Like them, Lin Berwick , who is blind, has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user, was frustrated by the difficulty of finding suitable disabled holiday accommodation, so she founded The Lin Berwick Trust in 1989 to address this gap in the holiday accommodation market.

Travellers has grown into one of the major providers of voluntary placements and sends volunteers FROM all over the world, TO all over the world! We have hundreds of letters from volunteers all over the world saying how much they enjoyed themselves and how beneficial the experience has been, both to themselves and to their host communities. Travellers is committed to upholding strict ethical standards that ensure a positive and lasting impact upon the environments, communities, institutions, volunteers, animals, children and people that we work with. Our projects enable vital conservation, research, care and education work to take place directly where it is most needed.
